Rainbow trout
Trout fillets are a delicacy in most of Europe, thus we are proud to be the producers of the best quality on the market. The high quality and the fine taste are due to good raw material from Danish fish farms, and very efficient processing. Trout contains amongst others: vitamins, minerals and omega-3 fatty acids, and consequently it contributes to a nutritional and balanced diet.

Flexible ready-to-eat product
We can offer you a real delicacy which we can deliver bearing our own name or a "private label". We are very flexible when it comes to special wishes, which differ from our standard range, and our production is designed so that individual wishes can be accommodated. In cooperation with the customer different marinades and spices can be added according to taste, plus a variety of packaging sizes are offered. Furthermore, we can assist in connection with the development of new wrapping and marketing support as required.

Production To ensure the highest product quality possible, our trout are stored, live, in tanks until they are slaughtered and filleted in an integrated process. The fillets are then sorted, automatically, according to weight and salted in vats. After salting they are smoked over fires using Juniper and Beech shavings in keeping with old traditions. The smoking process continues until a core temperature of 65ºc is reached, after which the fillets are quickly cooled down to 2ºc. The trout is now ready to be packed on our highly automated packing lines which are so designed that we achieve a rational process with consideration to the highest possible product safety. |
